With the British workforce being asked to return to working from home amid fears of a second spike in COVID-19 cases, new research from employee experience experts Qualtrics reveals that a quarter (24%) of UK workers do not feel valued by their organisation.
The research, which surveyed 2,000 UK workers, also shows that 15% of people feel less valued by their employer since the outbreak began and a further fifth (19%) do not feel proud to work for their organisation.
The importance of employee feedback is also highlighted in the research, with an overwhelming 96% of respondents saying that it’s important that their employer listens to their feedback during this uncertain period. This is in stark contrast to the 50% who say that their employer has not listened to their feedback more than they did before the pandemic caused ‘en masse’ remote working.
